I forgot to mention it yesterday but I was considering getting a new phone. "Was" because it's been ordered now. There's nothing wrong with my current phone (except when the screen randomly turned blue ofc) but it's getting old and with the current state of the world I might have trouble getting a new one in the future, so it's probably best to buy now. Trying to move away from Samsung, mom was initially incredulous because my choice of phone is Chinese but the scaremongering about Chinese spyware is just propaganda (though the actual situation is still bad; they're not spying on you for the Chinese government (and why the fuck would they? Why would they care about me, a random person with no ties to China?), rather, every phone seller is harvesting and selling data because capitalism) and she eventually came around after looking things up on her own. Should get here next week. I am keeping my old phone as a backup.
